Villa Helianthus is beautifully sited on the landscaped grounds of the Kardaki Estate on Corfu’s North East Coast. Sleeping up to 8 guests, the house is laid out over 2 floors with each en-suite bedroom opening out onto a sea-view terrace. The elegant, airy interiors are finished with exquisite, hand-picked fabrics and traditional elements sit comfortably alongside sleek contemporary finishes for a truly relaxed and enjoyable experience. Cool covered terraces are perfect places to eat and unwind with open terraces bordering the infinity pool. The sandy beach at Kalamaki bay is minutes away with delicious tavernas and bars in the nearby villages of Kassiopi and Perithia. For larger groups, Villa Helianthus can be hired in conjunction with the adjacent 3- bedroom Villa Aster which sleeps up to 6 guests. The villas are connected via an arched wooden door in the garden.
LOCATION
Kalamaki bay is best known for being the only sandy beach in North East Corfu and as such is very popular with families, particularly those with younger children. It is a very calming beach, located between the popular towns of Kassiopi and Agios Spiridon, with views across the Ionian Sea to Albania and the Greek mainland beyond.

Corfu is one of Greece’s greenest islands, so there is a mix of rain and glorious sunshine. The warmest months of the year are July and August, approximately 31°C. May and June are very pleasant with temperatures ranging from 23 to 28°C and the sea is usually warm enough to swim in by June, and the average rainfall decreases at the end of May. Equally, September and October are a great time to go with cooler temperatures, perfect for walks, runs or hiking.
